Esperanza Moreno, director general of Diversity and Educational Quality of the Autonomous Community, visited this Friday the CEIP Bahia de Puerto de Mazarrón coinciding with the beginning of the school year.

Accompanied by the mayor, Alicia Jiménez and the director of the center, Salvador Ardil, the director verified the normality on the first day of school in the children's and primary schools in the municipality.

The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, highlighted the investment of the City to set the summer schools different.

An investment whose budget has been around 50,000 thousand euros, said the mayor.

For its part, the Director General of Educational Quality, Esperanza Moreno, wanted to highlight the commitment of the regional government for bilingual education and the opening of new open classrooms.

Moreno indicated that the objective is to extend bilingualism to all the centers of the Region in the course 2019-2020.
