The hamlet of La Majada has celebrated for nine days its patron saint festivities in honor of La Purisima.
Nine days of festivities that have made enjoy to all the public and that had to the past Friday between one of its great days with the traditional sisa mass and later procession with the image of the patron saint.
On the eve, Maria Costa, president of the Association of Rural Women of the Raiguero de Totana, was in charge of proclaiming the festivities.
At the end of the day, the queens and místers of the parties were chosen.
The mayor, Alicia Jiménez and the councilman of Festejos, Patricio Sánchez, did not miss this event, taking the opportunity to congratulate the pedantry and the commission of parties for the work done.
The closing of these celebrations took place on Sunday, September 10 during a day that began at 10:00 am with a concentration of classic vehicles, giant paella, different contests and awards ceremony.
