Work has already begun on the construction of a surface car park in the Media Legua Sports Complex with a grant budget of 104,879 euros, financed by more than 80% by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia through the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration, with the rest of the investment being municipal ownership. The works, which have recently started, will be extended until October.
The car park will have 179 places, of which 12 will be reserved for people with reduced mobility.
The action, which covers an area of ​​approximately 4,000 m2, consists of the asphalting of the parking surface, pavement of sidewalks with cobblestones, pipes for the collection of rainwater, as well as the necessary horizontal and vertical signaling.
