Users of the Day Center of People with Intellectual Disability in Mazarrón have started pre-work practices in three companies in the municipality.
The activity is the result of an agreement signed by the Council of Social Policy of the City of Mazarrón.
A stationery, hairdresser and a computer store in Mazarrón are the establishments where users will be formed over a year, with the possibility of extension.
This initiative is part of a program of orientation and labor insertion that also has an integrative purpose and generation of personal autonomy.
The activity is coordinated by a social worker of the Day Center, following a personalized insertion itinerary.
The development of the practices will be followed by the coordinator, a psychologist and a center occupational therapist.
