On the day that the world fight against breast cancer is commemorated, the Mazarrón City Council has shown its support for the work being done by the Local Board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and expressed in a complete program of activities that began last October 14 and culminate next Sunday 22 in the Plaza del Convento de Mazarrón with the Third March for Life.
Pedro Martinez, first lieutenant mayor of the municipality, Marisol Vivancos, Councilor for Health and Laura Ortiz, Councilor for Social Policy, have called the Mazarroneros to show their usual solidarity and come to this event solidarity.
Tomás Ureña, member of the Local Board of AECC, recalled that the entries to participate in the march can be held from 9:00 am in the Plaza del Convento.
The registration fee will be 5 euros and includes a commemorative t-shirt with the association's pink color.
The march will cross different points of the town of Mazarrón with end at the point of departure.
New headquarters in Puerto de Mazarrón and Annual Dinner
The first deputy mayor of Mazarrón, Pedro Martínez, has highlighted the collaboration of the municipal government team with the Local Board of AECC and has highlighted the opening of a new headquarters for the association in Puerto de Mazarrón in a local ceded by the City in the street San Hilario.
This Friday, the students of the IES Antonio Hellín will decorate with a "Mural of the Hope" the new facilities.
It will be from 17:00 hours.
Tomás Ureña also recalled that next November 11 will take place in the halls of celebrations Zaira de Bolnuevo the annual dinner supportive of the Local Board of AECC.
