The beach of the Reya of Bahia will host during the next weekend the first day of the Beach Volley League, regional competition that will extend until the month of April completing four more days.
This new sporting event was presented Monday by Mónica Martínez, president of the Club Voley Playa de Murcia and Patricio Sánchez, councilor of Sports of the City of Mazarrón.
During the day of Saturday will compete the categories inferiors sub 13, sub 15, sub 17 and mixed category and for Sunday it is anticipated the competition in absolute category for men and women.
Entries are kept open until Wednesday, October 25 on the website www.clubvoleyplayamurcia.com and on the Facebook Club Voley Playa Murcia page.
Patricio Sánchez has highlighted the commitment of the current government team for beach sports, reinforced with the construction of two football fields and beach volleyball in the Sports Complex.
"The intention is to promote sports schools linked to activities that can be developed in our municipality," said the Councilor for Sports.
For her part, Mónica Martinez, president of the Club Murcia Beach Volleyball, has indicated that the fact of choosing the beach of Bay of Mazarron for the celebration of this test is due to the charm that has this place since the club sought "attractive places, with good sand and ample so as not to disturb bathers ".
Martinez has recalled that it is not necessary to play all the days of this league and that in each one of them there will be prizes by categories.
The score will be individual by establishing a final ranking.
