The municipal cemeteries multiply these days the number of visitors on the occasion of the festival of All Saints.
Therefore, the councils of Parks and Gardens and Services of the City of Mazarrón have carried out improvement tasks in order to facilitate access and offer a better image.
Parks and Gardens has placed more than 700 ornamental plants, 400 in the Mazarron cemetery and 300 in the Puerto de Mazarron.
50% of the plants placed are supplied by the Municipal Nursery.
Also, the green areas of the interiors of the cemeteries of Mazarrón and Puerto have been cleaned
The Department of Services has conditioned the parking areas and has done a review of interior and exterior painting of the graveyards.
Marisol Vivancos, Councilor for Parks and Gardens and Domingo Hernández, Councilor for Services, have verified the improvements carried out in situ.
Marisol Vivancos said that another initiative for this occasion has been to extend the visiting hours until 7:00 p.m.
