The local water management company, Aqualia, completes the work to improve the municipal sanitation network.
The works, belonging to the Investment Plan, consist of the renovation of sewerage networks that, either due to age, diameter or insufficient slope, no longer fulfill the necessary function to ensure a good service.
During these days works are undertaken in Isaac Peral de Mazarrón street within an action plan that has integrated Pi and Margal streets, Plaza del Convento and Canalejas street.
In Puerto de Mazarrón, next week will continue with the asphalting of Plaza Aneto and the renovation of sanitation and asphalting in Mar de Moluccas street, which joins the work in the streets Pensamientos, Kilimanjaro and Cartagena.
After finishing in the next days in Mazarrón and Puerto, the works will be moved to the Camposol urbanization where the installation of a 780 meter long collector will be carried out in the green space that delimits sectors C and D. they will renovate two wastewater pumping stations, including the electrical installation, emergency generator sets, in addition to the environmental conditioning and enclosure fencing.
These works are expected to be completed at the beginning of February.
The works undertaken by Aqualia have a total budget of 916,000 euros.
