The Center for the Elderly of Puerto de Mazarrón commemorates its 25th anniversary this November.
To celebrate, its members have actively participated in the organization of an exhibition that reviews the evolution experienced by technological devices over the last half century.
The exhibition was visited on Thursday by the Secretary General of Family Counseling, Manuel Marcos Sánchez, in the company of the first deputy mayor, Pedro Martinez and the Councilor for Social Policy, Laura Ortiz.
All of them have congratulated the elders of the center for the effort and dedication they have put into a sample that can be visited until December 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The Center for the Elderly of Puerto de Mazarrón, which is part of the Murciano Institute of Social Action (IMAS), currently has 4,000 members and develops around twenty workshops.
Its director, Ángel López, has highlighted the work and collaboration of the elderly in each of the activities carried out in the center and that has been reflected in an exhibition of great interest for different generations.
