A total of 130 fishermen competed last Saturday on the coast of the municipality on the occasion of the celebration of the XIII edition of the National Fishing Open Bahía de Mazarrón.
Participants from Galicia, Melilla, Comunidad Valencia, Andalucía and Murcia enjoyed an optimal day for the development of the activity.
The councilors of Services and Infrastructures, Domingo Hernández and Pedro Martínez accompanied the participants and proceeded to the delivery of trophies at the end of the competition.
The ceremony took place at the headquarters of the fishing club of Puerto de Mazarrón, next to El Rihuete beach.
The classification was led by Javier Vela of Club Naut.
Santa Lucía de Cartagena, followed by Víctor Martínez from the Tecnopesca Club of Murcia and Pedro José Navarro from the Todomar Club of Murcia.
The largest piece was recorded by Raúl Pérez from the Horadada Fishing Club of Alicante.
