A Latin American delegation headed by the Minister of Agriculture of Panama, Eduardo Enrique Carles, visited Mazarrón on Wednesday to know in situ the innovation that Durán applies to generate papaya crops.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, accompanied the members of this delegation during her visit to the greenhouse plantations of the Mazarron company.
Jiménez praised the innovative capacity that has turned both papaya and mango into pioneering products in its geographical area.
The visit forms part of a business mission organized by the Development Bank of Latin America, fulfilling objectives of promoting the unity of Ibero-American countries.
The Panamanian minister was very interested in the innovation techniques that are carried out in Mazarrón to generate a very common product in his country in Mediterranean climate.
Responsible for the company Durán transmitted the steps taken in the process.
