A collaboration agreement between the Day Center for People with Intellectual Disability of Mazarrón and the Association of Merchants of Mazarrón y Comarca (ACOMA) will allow that in the next Christmas holidays the local stores have among the decoration of their shop windows elements worked by 33 users of the Day Center. It consists of 80 Christmas trees made from recycled materials.
The activity, promoted by the City of Mazarrón and the La Caixa Foundation, fulfills a social and promotional function of the local economic activity.
The act of delivery of the works was attended by the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, the councilor for Social Policy, Laura Ortiz, the councilor of Commerce, Marisol Vivancos, the director of the Day Center, Salvador Sánchez, as responsible for ACOMA and La Caixa.
