6 floats will enter contest |
A total of 18 groups between floats and musical parades are scheduled to participate next Sunday December 10 in the traditional float parade on the occasion of the Patron Saint Festivities of Mazarron that will start at 11:00 am.
The itinerary that the participating groups will follow will depart from Antonio Machado street, continue along La Vía street, to continue on San Pascual street and finish at the junction of this street with Avenida de la Constitución.
Mazarroneros and visitors will be able to enjoy a parade of great showiness that will open a sample of classic vehicles, followed by the Band of Drums and Bugles of Mazarrón.
Six floats enter this year's competition: Asociación Comparsa Salsalá, Baile De Rosa School, AMPA CEIP La Aceña, AMPA CEIP Manuela Romero, AMPA CEIP Francisco Caparrós and Carroza José Ángel Munuera.
To the floats of the queens for children, youth and the Third Age will be added those of the children's candidates, one of Carnival and Huertana.
After the completion of the parade, the awards ceremony will take place at the Tent of the Day Fair on Avenida de la Constitución.
