The elders of the Mazarrón Municipal Day Center visited the town of La Puebla de Don Fadrique on November 27.
The trip is part of the monthly workshop "Know your Region and surroundings".
A group of 74 members of the center could get to know the town center, the ethnographic and archaeological museum, the church of Santa María de la Quinta Angustia, the Casa de los Patiños, the Gregorio Marín Art House Museum and the Santas hermitage.
The Mazarrón delegation was received by the mayor of the town, Mariano García Castillo.
During their visit, the elderly were able to taste homemade sausages in a family business that has lasted for many years.
The next trip of the workshop "Know your Region and surroundings" will be on January 31 to Caudete.
