The students of the PMEF "GARUM" have completed their hospitality training by offering a Christmas meal to the users of the service.
For nine months, 15 students have received, in the Cresta del Gallo Building, professional notions, working simultaneously as waiters and cooks and offering a daily menu to users who have been referred by the Municipal Social Services.
The project began with the theoretical-practical classes established by the certificate of professionalism "Basic operations of restaurant and bar" and was completed with a master of ham cutting, wine tasting ... The students also obtained training in New Technologies, employment guidance and job search.
This initiative has been subsidized by the local employment and training service and co-financed by the ESF through the operational program of youth employment.
