The general director of Commerce, Francisco Abril, the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez and the councilman of Commerce, Marisol Vivancos, reported on Thursday at the Cultural Center of the new line of subsidies for associations of traders called by the Employment Council, Universities and Companies of the Region of Murcia.
As a result, the General Directorate of Trade, Consumption and Administrative Simplification will allocate 200,000 euros to finance actions and investments of small businesses.
The aid, whose maximum amount per project or action amounts to 5,000 euros, should be used in two types of actions.
On the one hand, those related to the 'Focus' project, those designed to inform the owners of the associated commercial establishments and their employees of the most innovative experiences, techniques and procedures put into practice within the retail trade sector.
These actions can be carried out both by professionals and leading companies, where they will accommodate the actions designed to receive knowledge of English in order to serve foreign customers.
Likewise, on the other hand, the aids may be used in commercial promotion activities, which may consist of the celebration of information activities, in the organization and assembly of commercial dynamization events or in the animation of the point of sale, among other actions.
The deadline for submitting applications began at the beginning of this year and will be open until March 9.
The maximum amount to be granted to each project or action will be 5,000 euros, which can cover up to 100 percent of the eligible expenses, and the interested party may request and, if necessary, grant a maximum of two projects or actions.
Applications can be made electronically through the website of the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia.
