New successes for Mazarron athletes during the last weekend.

Juan Mayorga of the Taekwondo Club Mazarrón won the third place in the Spanish Championship in the junior category in Córdoba.

Mayorga will compete with the Spanish team next March at the International Open in the Netherlands.

Along with Juan Mayorga, the Mazarron also competed, José Luis Morales

And in athletics, Tomás Zamora and Miriam Sánchez added both medals in the Regional Youth Championship held in Yecla.

Zamora won the gold medal in 200 m and the silver medal in 60 m.

Miriam Sánchez hung the silver in long jump and the bronze in 200 m.

The two athletes are members of the Mazarrón Athletics Club
