Patricio Sánchez, councilman of Celebrations, and Marisol Vivancos, councilor of Commerce, presented on Tuesday the gastronomic appointment "Pura Plaza" that will host the Plaza de Abastos of Puerto de Mazarrón from 17 to 19 March.
New Bodeguita, La Meseguera, Fizz, La Perra Chica and Time to Eat will be the five venues that offer their best culinary creations in an event that will be enlivened by the music of the local artist "Luiso" and the pop rock band "The Tracks ".
"Pura Plaza" will be inaugurated on Saturday, March 17 at 12:00.
The event will continue uninterrupted until 23:00.
On Sunday, March 18, it will keep the same schedule and on Monday, March 19, it will open from 12:00 to 17:00.
The participating venues will have the obligation to present three tapas, one of them will be fixed throughout the fair, entering the contest.
The price of the cover will be 2 euros.
A guest chef of honor will be in charge of announcing the name of the winning tapa.
As for musical performances, on Saturday March 17 will be "El Luiso" and Sunday March 18, "The Tracks", with its best pop and rock versions of the 80 and 90 until today.
In addition, during the whole fair, local DJs will also be present.
Inflatable castles on the outside of the square will encourage the little ones to enjoy a festive atmosphere.
"Pura Plaza" was created with the aim of promoting the hospitality sector and bringing the gastronomic variety of the town closer to other professionals in the sector and to the general public.
This event is completed with the Route of the Top of the Fiestas de San José in which 16 locations of Puerto de Mazarrón participate between March 16 and 25.
