María José Puche, photographer and artist from Murcia, exhibits in Puerto de Mazarrón her latest work entitled "María Magdalena".
It is an exhibition of 12 photographs dedicated to the figure of Mary Magdalene and to the facts gathered in the New Testament.
The last exhibition of Puche was inaugurated last Friday in the exhibition hall of Casa del Mar, at the entrance to the fishing pier of Puerto de Mazarrón.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, attended the opening of a show that opens the season of exhibitions in a room visited in high season by the thousands of people who walk around the Marina.
The opening was also attended by the Councilor for Culture, Pedro Martínez.
The author has been inspired by works of art dedicated to the historical figure, canonized by the Catholic Church.
The inauguration of this exhibition coincides with the premiere of a film dedicated to this figure on the Spanish billboards.
The exhibition can be seen at Casa del Mar until April 1 from Wednesday to Saturday from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The room will open only in the morning on Sundays and holidays on March 19 and March 30.
