The City of Mazarrón has received a grant from the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities amounting to 21,159 euros in order to alleviate the effects of energy poverty and ensure the supply of electricity and water to people at risk and / or of social exclusion.
In the BORM n ° 88, of this Wednesday, April 18, approve the regulatory bases for the granting of aid to alleviate energy poverty in the municipality of Mazarrón, for which is granted, the term of one month, from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, to be able to present the applications.
The amount of the financing of this subsidy, with respect to these bases, amounts to a total of € 15,128.24.
The rest of the amount of the subsidy will be allocated to the hiring of a social worker, who will be responsible for processing and assessing all applications submitted.
To access the grants, it will be necessary to:
Reside in the municipality of Mazarrón, at least 1 year before the application.
The house must be in the municipality of Mazarrón, and must be the habitual residence of the person requesting the assistance.
Do not exceed the monthly disposable income based on the number of people living together.
The criteria for granting the grants will be the monthly disposable income and the number of minors.
