This Sunday the residents of the hamlet of Pastrana has taken to the streets to enjoy the day of its patron, St. James.
Firstly there has been the Holy Mass, which has taken a special character to the English Choir singing, boasting of being a bilingual parish in the municipality.
The neighbors, upon his arrival to the Church, St. James have entertained with a wreath.
After the Mass, the procession took place in Santiago Apostle to which neighbors and local authorities, including the headman of Pastrana, Domingo Hernández, collaborated carrying the image.
The Councillor of the Presidency, Alicia Jiménez Councillor for Infrastructure and Planning, José Antonio Román Councillor for Citizen Security, Second Munoz Personal Councilman, City Councilman Miguel Ballesta and Services, Salvador Ardil not want to miss this event with Pastrana.
Musical performances by Ricky 'The Andalusian Chico' and Isabel Ruiz have given continuity to a party that has lasted until midnight, when the traditional fireworks display marked the end of the holidays of 2010.
Gone are three days of fun in which the popular games, sports tournaments and nights of festival have completed a calendar of events, organized by the Department of Fiestas del Ayuntamiento de Mazarrón and wrapped by hundreds of citizens, especially by the residents of Mazarron Pastrana and many who have come to the hamlet.
