The municipality of Mazarrón has received from the Ministry of Agriculture and Water two teams in underground containers of urban household waste with three rear cargo boxes.
Francisco Blaya moved in yesterday morning to the Ministry of Health to sign the deed of assignment of containers, which the Consistory is committed to its implementation and the maintenance and preservation thereof, and the Department for Meanwhile, eventually made spot checks to ensure proper use and maintenance.
The Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerda, who chaired the event, explained that this acquisition will contribute "to the maintenance of the environment and approach to citizens source separation and separate collection of waste to facilitate recycling of the same ".
It is rear loading equipment, cargo boom, side and frontolateral, adapted to the type of vehicle that makes the collection, that "enhance the visual impact on the urban landscape by getting a clean and pleasant spaces," said the Director.
They consist of platforms that contain several containers of different capacities, rising by a hydraulic system being viewed by professionals waste collection to proceed to emptying.
Antonio Cerda said that this acquisition is "another step in the Ministry of Agriculture and Water for the improvement of the municipalities of the Region of Murcia where infrastructure for street cleaning and waste collection."
In this regard, adding that the effort made by citizens, separating their waste at source, "is rewarded with objective data, as the Region of Murcia is higher percentage of recycling of label by the European Union directive ".
The new teams are located in Coopers Square and the Avenida Tierno Galván, compared to the Rise to Faro.
