This Wednesday, September 1st, the Center for Early Child Development and Mazarrón City Council will begin the 2010-2011 academic year.
The Center will start its activities with the assistance of users of Area of Physiotherapy, continuing with the Early Learning Area, being the last to join the school, coinciding with the return to school on 13 September.
With them will be implemented in programs that involve diagnosis, stimulation of development, treatment, monitoring and evaluation.
From October, the center will operate at full capacity.
To this end, therapists coordinate their services with the aim of intervening in the same line of action and with the same information, thus facilitating global intervention (child and family).
Such coordination will also exist between the Centre and the participating institutions, including schools, centers of Child Care, Social Services, the county health centers, etc.
Moreover, it is worth noting that programs based on primary prevention extend their coverage through presentations to various groups for the attention of specific groups such as pregnant women and parents of newborns.
These Users can enjoy the 'Infant Massage Workshop' for babies under six months, and talks on power as the basis of oral and facial stimulation in children.
The Center also includes the activities of the academic year 2010-2011, the program 'Laterality Detection Crusade', 'Difficulty Level Motor', 'Grasping' and 'Writing Tools pressure and postural habits Inadequate' in children and Girls Education.
This program is open to all schools in the county, have already successfully developed in the CEIP Infanta Leonor, for two years continuously.
The Center for Child Development and Early Childhood programs will continue to practice with different public and private institutions, such as the Ministry of Education, University of Murcia, San Antonio Catholic University and the Higher Institute of Educational Studies.
