This population growth has enriched the town with a wide diversity of cultures.
So much so that this morning the Muslims living in Mazarrón, celebrated the end of Ramadan in the Municipal Sports Pavilion The Aceña.
This initiative is being developed in the municipality of Mazarrón, since 2008, which allows Muslims to respond to the customs of their homeland.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, together with the Councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja, and the Councillor for Immigration, Yolanda Vivancos, have seen fit to accompany the Muslims in this original act of Muslim culture.
The Consistory Mazarron, through the departments of Sport and Immigration, has offered its support and dedication to the Muslims who have fired the day of the Ramadan fasting, making available their facilities, thus facilitating the development of the day prayers.
Ramadan is the ninth month of Islamic calendar, known internationally for being in which Muslims are bound by their beliefs to daily fast from dawn until sunset.
According to the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan is obligatory for every Muslim adult with a trial, either male or female.
After Ramadan, some Muslims prepare for their trip to celebrate the month of pilgrimage to the shrines of Medium or Mecca, the place to be to visit at least once in their life.
