The Councillor of the Presidency, Alicia Jiménez, and Alderman of Public Safety, Second Muñoz, have recently closed 'National Championship XI Lifesaving Military' in the Hotel Bahía de Mazarrón.
This program is framed in the Plan of Activities of the Higher Council for Physical Education and Sports of the armed forces by 2010.
In this event participants have won medals and trophies for their work during the last week in the National Championship.
Once again, Mazarrón has been the site chosen for its maritime connections and pleasant climate, which benefits the normal development of the evidence, disputed both the Bay of Mazarrón and in the Municipal Pool.
This year the Championship has had the participation of male and female representatives of organizations such as the Royal Guard, the Army, Navy, Air Force, the Military Emergency Unit and the Guardia Civil.
The tests were as follows: 100 meters combined rescue (private pool), swimming and surfing (individual open water), Race and board (single open water), 200 meters supersocorrista (private pool), OceanMen / oceanwoman (individual open water ), 200 meter swim with obstacles (private pool), relay rescue tube rescue (open water teams), respite OceanMen / ocenwoman (open water equipment) and 4 x 25 relay mannequin drag (pool equipment).
