The action in the streets and Santa Teresa Canalejas encompass the renovation of sidewalks, paving, lighting, sanitation and drinking water network.
The other streets, located in the neighborhoods of Aceña and La Ermita, shall include asphalt works and renewal of drinking water.
The project, funded by the Regional Government of Murcia and the town of Mazarrón, has a total of 317,985.14 euros.
The work will begin in two months.
Next, the Board also approved the Health and Safety Plan of the work contained in the draft 'Adequacy of sports facilities in Cañada de Gallego', and the Waste Management Plan for this project.
These are the procedures prior to commencement of work, valued at 150,000 euros, including paddle tennis court and sports court reform.
The work will begin in about a week.
In the field of Public Safety, the government team has proceeded to execute the contract to supply equipment for the Communications Network of Local Police.
With this action, whose investment is € 45,000, will replace the previous equipment for a more secure encrypted digital system, which will improve markedly Broadcasting Network of Local Police staff Mazarrón.
The Board today also included emergency items such as certificates of public lighting works in the Private Playagrande and Four Feathers, those of the new Library of Puerto de Mazarrón, the coronation of Facade of CEIP La Canada, the Social Centre Cultural Center Camposol and Mazarron.

The purpose of this project is to provide access to pedestrian areas to commercial areas, linking the three main commercial focus of the town of Mazarrón as are the Plaza del Convento, Constitution Avenue and Calle La Vía
In the area of the Plaza del Convento, the works are carried out from the Plaza de Juan Paredes up access to the Garden of La Purisima.
The performance will include the other two commercial areas from the street Via, Plaza de la Guardia Civil and the adjacent streets to the new 'Market Cresta del Gallo'.
The works will improve accessibility, eliminating curbs and ramps and creating more space for movement of pedestrians by paving, lighting, underground wiring and change of the sewerage and drinking water.
The work, whose value is 212,000 euros, is composed of 185,000 euros in funding by the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the rest is covered by the Town Council of Mazarron.
