The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor for Social Policy, Yolanda Vivancos, recently signed a contract with the company 'Clece Services SA' for the provision of home help.
This company has been selected by submitting the lowest bid by an economic amount of 186,000 euros for a full year.
This service provide home help offered by the town through the Department of Social Policy is aimed at older people, disabled people and even entire families who are in a socially disadvantaged and have no resources or family support.
The services provided are primarily: personal hygiene, household cleaning, food and leisure walks.
People are hired home help assistants who have training and experience for this situation.
The total staff of eight assistants are: three designed for Puerto de Mazarrón, Mazarrón four for and one aimed at parishes, as this service also provides coverage to rural areas.
Basic home care will be provided Monday through Friday and there will be another home help service for weekends and holidays.
