The municipality of Mazarrón has an important cultural demand.

A total of thirteen students and ten teachers from different countries such as Cyprus, Germany, Italy and Latvia, share their linguistic experience with faculty and students of this educational institution for Mazarrón.
This project is strong purpose: bringing together different schools of the European Union, acquiring new knowledge on social, cultural and academic.
The Councillor of the Presidency, Alicia Jiménez, has recently received the faculty of this project, who were accompanied by the Director of IES Sunday Valdivieso, Daniel Diaz.
Jimenez has used the visit to wish them a happy stay in the town and to give them some gifts for both teachers and pupils alike.
For the Consistory of Mazarrón these initiatives involve the development of young people from their secondary education, a cultural projection that extends into the rest of the educational community and reverses positively Mazarron fabric of society.
