The municipality of Mazarrón has joined the celebration of 'International Day Against Gender Violence. "
This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, read a manifesto which have shown their disgust and upset by this scourge of society.
After reading, there has been the release of white balloons.
The event was also present Councillor for Equality, Yolanda Vivancos, Women, Juana Maria Morales, Staff, Miguel Ballesta, Infrastructure, José Antonio Román; Services Ardil Salvador, and Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja.
Throughout the morning, the Town Hall Square has wrapped a program of activities, where the protagonists have been the school in the municipality of Mazarrón.
Students have participated in the workshops, games and educational dynamics for equality, as well as theatrical performances and the painting of murals graffiti.
These events must be added the traditional white ribbons fantastic and the information desk of the Centre for the Care of Victims of Gender Violence Mazarrón.
This program has engaged students and teachers from charter schools Siglo XXI, IES Felipe II, CEIP CEIP La Aceña and Ginés García, as well as unitary school students and members of the Occupational Center of Mazarrón.
In the organization and development of this programming, on the occasion of 'International Day Against Gender Violence', the councils have worked together for Equality and Women of the Consistory of Mazarrón.
