On Wednesday 1 December, the town of Mazarrón host the "I Technical Seminar on Red Palm Weevil '18.00 in the hall of the Consistory of Mazarrón.

This briefing, which are invited all citizens of the municipality is organized by the Department of Services of the City of Mazarrón.

The presentation will focus on the scourge of red palm weevil, detailing both its development and its location in the municipality and the strategies that can be carried out to control and legal regulations.

This technical paper will be provided by the City Council, among which you'll find Jose Tomas Gallego, technical and Plant Health Service of the Directorate General for Modernization of Agricultural Operations and Training of the Autonomous Region of Murcia.
