The Lions Club of Mazarrón Bay City Council has donated medical supplies to the town.
Specifically there are two mattresses, two walkers and gifts for needy children.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, accompanied by the councilors of Social Policy, Yolanda Vivancos, and Treatment of Foreign Residents, Jacqueline Galvez, has received this material to be used to distribute among those groups of citizens who require more immediate attention.
In this ceremony also attended the Lions Club members Mazarrón Bay, among which was its President, Andrew Brown, who has emphasized that the purpose of this charitable organization is "to help others."
Francisco Blaya has been very grateful for this donation which will expand the resource and means for the Department of Social Policy of the Consistory of Mazarrón, something that will lead to all citizens, especially those most in need.
This gift symbolizes the fighting ability, dedication and commitment of the components of the Lions Club Bahía de Mazarrón, who over the years organized charity events to raise funds in support of Mazarron.
These important solidarity actions are also intended to strengthen the bond of foreign residents, mainly the British, society Mazarron.
