This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Minister of Health, María Ángeles Palacios, inaugurated the Center for Primary Care urbanization of Camposol Mazarron.
This innovative health infrastructure will serve more than 5,000 citizens, foreign residents especially from European countries mostly.
Primary Care Center consists of 1,800 square meters on two floors of 540 square meters each.
The first floor is equipped with three general practices and three other nurses, as well as toilets, dealer inquiries, warehouse, parking area and garden.
The building also contains a basement floor, ready for future expansion, to be located in an area with high population growth, in which residents currently living overseas for more than thirty different nationalities.
With this new infrastructure, the municipality of Mazarrón is increased quality in healthcare services with modern facilities and more staff, which significantly increased speed, security and immediacy of services to citizens, improving daily consultations and the area of emergency .
Primary Care Center in Camposol be adding the two recent openings of the county health centers, one in Mazarrón and Port, which constitutes, together with the Primary Care Centres Cañada de Gallego and the feeding, a whole quality health map will revert positively on citizens.
According to Francisco Blaya, "the municipality of Mazarrón is in luck because the first has three major health settings, located in three key points of the municipality as Mazarron, Camposol and Puerto."
To the Mayor: "This breakthrough in infrastructure reinforces the sanitary quality of all Mazarron, easing the health centers and connecting directly to the demands of citizens."
The works, amounting to a total investment of 483,863 euros, is financed by the Autonomous Community of Murcia Region through the Ministry of Health and the City of Mazarrón.
