A total of hundred people, eighty men and twenty women participated in the 'V Intercultural Football Championship Villa de Mazarrón, held recently in the State Municipal de Mazarrón.
This sporting event that has played for the fifth consecutive year in Mazarrón, has been enriching for all participants, who, through football, have close ties with its neighbors, relatives and friends.
Some of the players repeated experience, due to both physical and personal success garnered in previous years.
Being a multicultural city with over eighty different nationalities, Mazarrón has more than fulfilled the role of social integration of all citizens.
This is a consolidated activity over time, which in just five years, has led to the coexistence of different nationalities living in the society at Mazarrón.
The Councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja, has kept pace with this 'Intercultural Football Championship', following which has seen fit to award prizes to the teams ranked, getting drinks at the group level and individual trophies.
