The 'Second Conference for Culture and Health', focusing on Tai Chi, have a good start.
This weekend, people have come to the Hotel Playa Grande to catch up on the importance of the practice of this martial art, a source of health for all.
The activity started out with the opening by Angeles Oria Ortiz, an expert on the subject.
With respect to participants, it is worth noting that there was a heterogeneous group with people from a fairly wide age range from 17 to 89 years, it was mainly students from the School of Tai Chi Tao.
The day began with a presentation of photographs of China and with an introduction to the ancient culture as opposed to the economic powerhouse it is today and with the philosophy which is steeped in its architecture and society.
The purpose of this talk, organized by the School of Tai Chi Tao in collaboration with the collaboration of the Department of Culture, was put into context the audience, encouraging greater understanding of 'Hero', a film that would project afterwards.
Finally, the group established a lively discussion involving virtually all the participants, highlighting the multiple aspects of the film.
The feedback was very positive, as most of the public had the intention to participate at the next meeting to be held on Friday 11 February at 19.30.
