A dozen women have participated in Mazarrón 'Caregiver Course Dependent Elderly in Rural Areas, held at the Municipal Center for the Elderly.
This training, absolutely free, the result of an agreement between the municipality and Intergenerational Solidarity, is structured in 50 hours over thirteen days.
The purpose of this free course has been to equip the future caretakers of resources, skills, strategies and knowledge to carry out an appropriate intervention in ensuring the quality of life of people in situations of dependency, and to raise awareness and establish ways for learning to all citizens.
The director of the Center for Mazarrón Day, Salvador Sanchez, has been responsible for closing the seminar, and proceeded to turn the delivery of diplomas, in the lounge of the institute.
The students have been fired during a breakfast made for themselves, a symbol of friendship and unity between all participants.
