The Councillor for Citizen Security, Segundo Muñoz, has seen the short film viewing Traffic Education Contest, held at the hall of the Consistory.
The event, in which participants were students, also attended by representatives of the Provincial Traffic Authority of Murcia, and members of the jury.
The participants, all students of the IES Felipe II, have made short films on DVD with a maximum of five minutes, deal with traffic accidents in the municipality in which it has been involved a driver under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Following the jury's decision, the first prize went to 'Accid_ent_', the second prize in 'The girl in the class,' and the third prize in the short film 'In my own city.
These three shorts were made by students of 3 º ESO.
The jury wanted to make an exception, giving fourth consolation prize to 'Video of the traffic accidents', prepared by students of 1 º ESO.
Moreover, cultural and exhibition space 'town hall' hosts in the document room billboards, created by the students of Secondary Education and Secondary schools in the municipality.
These posters respond to the awareness of cycling as a means of transport.
The awards will be given two separate contests in the month of May, coinciding with the closure of the 'Road Safety Education Conference XVI. "
