This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Director General of Sports, Antonio Peñalver, presented the 'III Run Mountain Bike', the mountain sports event not federated with more participation of the Region of Murcia.
The presentation, which took place in Murcia in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, also attended the Councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja, the president of the Mountaineering Federation of Murcia, Antonio Ruiz, and President Club Ciclista de Mazarrón, Enrique Belchí.
This Sunday, March 6, at 9.30 am depart for the town of Mazarrón this sporting event that features the participation of a thousand people registered in just one week.
After the strong demand received, the organization has limited entries in this figure.
Worth noting that the participants come from eleven different communities of Spain.
The test will begin in the Plaza del Convento through the Bolnuevo Erosions, naturist beaches, Cañada de Gallego, Sierra and the Sierra de La Herrerías up to Quail Mazarrón, namely the goal to be located on Constitution Avenue.
The total route is 50 miles.
The participants, who are aged between 16 and 76 years will receive a jersey, a technical shirt and a picnic bag.
The registrations were made online, directly through the website www.ccmazarron.com.
At a press conference, Francisco Blaya said that "this sporting event combines sport and tourism as the town of Mazarrón receive with open arms all who want to move to the town to enjoy the benefits of the locality."
In this regard, Antonio Peñalver has stated that "Mazarrón offers unique mountain ranges with the perfect setting for a test of this nature."
The 'Run Mountain Bike III' is organized by the Bicycle Club of Mazarrón in collaboration with the Department of Sports City and the Hiking Club "Friends of Nature."
