On Saturday the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, accompanied by the Secretary of the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Migration in the Autonomous Community, Fernando Mateo, has given the award for 'Woman Mazarrón 2011', Marian Martínez Noguera.
During the ceremony the young Mazarron has been wrapped by different local authorities, as well as family and friends.
The event was opened the councilors of Women and Social Policy, Juana Maria Morales and Yolanda Vivancos.
Juana Maria Morales gave an overview of academic life and work of Marian Martínez and Yolanda Vivancos meanwhile read the minutes of the appointment of the 'Woman Mazarrón 2011'.
Subsequently, Blaya and Matthew delivered a commemorative plaque and a bouquet of flowers to Marian Martínez Noguera, who can claim to have an exemplary academic and professional career.
Worth noting that this prize has been awarded for being the first woman judge Mazarron and have booked their place in the world of justice.
Marian Martínez Noguera, who is very grateful to the first survey of its people, where he was born, raised and where he has lived the most special moments of his life, promised to wear with pride the name of Mazarrón.
Then Fernando Mateo, who had a kind word and close to the 'Woman Mazarrón 2011', explained the important role women play in society.
The event was closed by Mayor of Mazarrón, congratulating Marian Martínez Noguera for being the youngest woman to be granted this award, at the age of 34 years as a great example for all citizens, as well as to study and work towards a fairer society.
The music of the choir and the Rondalla del Centro de Mazarrón Day ended the award ceremony 'Mazarron Women 2011'.
