This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, accompanied by Council for Infrastructure and Tourism, José Antonio Román and Alicia Jimenez, and by businessman Juan Antonio Pérez de 'Electricidad El Capi SL', visited the lighting performance, developed in El Castellar.
This project, undertaken by the company Mazarron 'Electricidad El Capi SL', has hosted the streets Garafia, Valverde, Canary Islands, Orotava, Starboard, Tenerife, Gomera and Fuerteventura, and more.
Action in El Castellar has led to a uniformity of lighting, giving it a suitable lighting level and a considerable saving in power because in this project have introduced a flow reducing astronomical programmer.
These one hundred lamps are prepared to ensure both energy and economic savings across the whole estate.
It is remarkable that this action is part of the comprehensive renewal of the lighting of the town, consisting of about three kilometers in length approximate.
Francisco Blaya said that "this project has sought to reverse the economy in the municipality, the company has executed as jobs that have generated a total of five direct jobs and indirect five people from municipality. "
This lighting project in El Castellar, valued at an investment of 220,000 euros has been made in four months, from July to November.
The works, demanded by the citizens of the municipality of Mazarrón, 2010, are financed with funds from Plan E.
