This morning the students of Primary Education room CEIP Francisco Caparrós and Siglo XXI charter schools have participated in the Festival Road Education (Festivial), which has taken place in the auditorium of the Department of Culture.
CEIP Francisco schoolchildren Caparrós have interpreted a song entitled 'Save the Forests', inspired by the well-known tune of Shakira's Waka waka. "
On the other hand, students of charter schools Siglo XXI have staged a song called 'The light', focused entirely on road safety education.
Sendas songs have had the main theme of road safety, which have been marked by the commemoration of International Year of Forests which takes place along this year, the celebration aims to raise awareness worldwide about the importance of caring green areas, especially forests.
In this event, which parents have come from the participants, has been present Sgt Local Police Chief, Gerardo Marin, who has proceeded to the presentation of certificates to all participants from both teachers and pupils.
The Consistory of Mazarrón appreciates the involvement of CEIP Francisco Caparrós and charter schools Siglo XXI, who will receive their awards at the closing ceremony of the XVI Conference on Road Safety Education.
The Department of Public Safety to give students vouchers redeemable for musical material, school or sports stores in the municipality and the amount of 100 euros per site and 12 euros for participating students.
