On Wednesday the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, accompanied by members of the government team and the architect of the book, Pepa Diaz, has opened Cresta del Gallo Market, located in the main artery of the municipality and operated for six months.
The warm reception of Mazarron this commercial magnet has been demonstrated by hundreds of people who wanted to officially welcome this new building.
Throughout the afternoon there have been many activities that have taken place in this commercial space with food and beverage tastings for all traders.
Citizens have enjoyed the new facilities of a holiday with live music that borne by the Rondalla de Mazarrón and David Andreu.
After the opening, attendees have witnessed the live draws a motorcycle resulting Meseguer Natividad winning a mountain bike to Ascension Sanchez and a bike ride to Celestino López Acosta.
This building currently has three greengrocers, two fishmongers, two butchers, a Ecotienda, salted shop, flower shop, two bakeries, a bar, a health food store, a gift shop and decoration, a sports shop, a children's clothing store and youth, a jeweler, a clothing store man and woman, a multipurpose room, a customer service office and home office.
This building also houses the Office of the Consumer, available to users on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9.00 to 14.00, and the Housing Office on Friday from 9.00 to 14.00.
Since opening to the mall has been given a variety of uses which led to the development of seventy periods of activities, from book presentations, to exhibitions and courses, what has become a meeting place between Mazarrón.
In the meeting with the media, Francisco Blaya thanked the brilliant work of the architect, Pepa Diaz in the design of this building, which stands as the most innovative of the entire municipality.
In fact, the Mayor has reviewed "The prime attraction of this building is its facade, Gaudí-inspired, with a decorative forms a beautiful color."
