This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, accompanied by the British Consul, Paul Rodwell, and the Councillor for Foreign Residents Care, Jacqueline Gálvez, inaugurated the Social Center Los Palacios, located in the sector B of Camposol.
The official opening of the facilities has coincided with a talk on pensions, led by the British Consul, who has guided more than 150 attendees to improve their relationship with the Spanish.
The British Consul has answered all the questions and suggestions from the audience, and its main objective to improve the quality of life for all foreign residents.
This building, for more than five thousand people living in Camposol, stands as a meeting point among all people living in the area of ​​Camposol, where a large number of educational, cultural and charitable.
The work consisted in the construction of a building on the ground floor of 270 square meters of floor area.
This space is composed of a multi-purpose room 134.35 meters square aided by several units, toilets, foyer and hall.
The work has been performed by the company Mazarron 'Irenamur SL' for an amount of 176,974.24 euros.
This action, which has generated direct and six indirect jobs, has been financed with funds from Plan E.
