CEIP students Ginés García Martínez de Mazarrón have recently participated in the 'Meet the author' of the hand of Carlos Cano, writer of children's books.

The initiative has taken place in the hall of the cultural and exhibition space of Mazarrón town hall attended by 160 students, from levels of 3 °, 4, 5 and 6 Primary Education CEIP García Ginés Martínez.

The day was divided into three sessions of one hour and each writer has shown his talents as storyteller and a storyteller as a great communicator who is followed by a round of questions from students regarding both his work and his personal life, ending with the signing of the copies read by students previously.

The writer, broadcaster, writer and storyteller Valencia Cano Carles Peiró, a degree in Catalan Studies and author of a variety of children's books, which has been publishing since 1983 and have been translated into several languages ​​and scripts for television Valencian regional, Channel 9.

Leads since 1994 to publish books for the publisher Anaya different textbooks for Primary Education and has participated in exhibitions with his particular "visual poetry", being awarded numerous awards for youth and children's literature.
