Domingo Valdivieso IES hosted the graduation ceremony yesterday and imposition of student scholarships of 4 ESO, 2 ° of university and training.
The ceremony was attended by the mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, the Councillor for Education, Maria Celeste Soria, and regional councilor and deputy in the Assembly, Alicia Jiménez.
The event highlighted by their emotions and the active participation of students, teachers and parents, as well as authorities.
In his speech, the Mayor announced that next year, will create a number of scholarships to reward the best students of each school.
A move that was applauded by the audience.
This iniacitiva encourage students to do their best and as Campillo said "the more you strive, create better society."
The mayor recalled his years at the center and encouragement to young people to "continue its efforts because of you depends the future of our municipality."
The regional councilor and deputy, Alicia Jiménez, made an emotional speech recalling also their educational years in the Sunday Valdivieso.
It was his first act as a deputy and took the time to ensure that "from my new position I hope to contribute aa promote and improve the education system and participate in any issue for citizens."
Jimenez Mayor congratulated on his new position and encouragement to work hard for Mazarrón over the next four years.
During the ceremony, 157 students received their scholarships and conmmemorativas fringes.
Belonging to BA 63, 73 and 20 ESO news cycle.
In addition 8 of them received scholarships honors.
They were Maria del Mar Alcalá, María Aparicio Boluda, Álvaro Martínez and Sofia Fernandez ESO and Cristina Díaz, María Graciela Cabrera, Samuel Garcia and Hernandez Bachelor Germain.
Also during the act erntregaron contest prizes for literature.
The short story fell to Maria del Carmen Garcia, and poetry was at the hands of Manuel Perez.
Also honored was the president of the AMPA, Paqui Mendez.
The center's director, Daniel Diaz, encourage students to continue studying.
