In order to promote tourism in the city this summer, Mazarrón will attend for the first time the biennial tourism fair "Marquis of Vélez," which will be held on 22, 23 and July 24 in Velez Blanco (Almeria) .
The municipality will participate with a stand of 5 square feet adorned with several displays in which exhibrán images of the most characteristic corners of Mazarrón.
It is anticipated that this fair to be held in a historical setting as the square of the City of the Andalusian village, more than 40,000 people attend.
Councillor for Tourism, Maria Celeste Soria, stressed that "we will take advantage of this fair because it is a nearby market. Because of this close we can get potential tourists to visit us a week, a weekend or even a single day. "
The first two days, Friday and Saturday, the hours of the show will be 6 pm to 2 am and Sunday from 6 pm to midnight.
In total there will be 22 hours for tourism promotion in which specially enhance the heritage that the town has related to the Marquis of Vélez.
The cost for the session will attendance at this fair will be only 100 euros to pay the hostess who will deliver to attendees of the town's promotional brochures.
The Department of Tourism has managed to reduce costs through better understanding between the councilor of the bouquet of Mazarrón and its counterpart in the municipality egetano.
