The Citizen Participation Council (CPC) on Youth held last week, has determined the implementation of a series of initiatives to improve leisure opportunities for young Mazarron and promote opportunities for personal growth in this sector the municipality both individually and collectively.
The Councillor for Citizen Participation, David Fernandez and Youth mayor, Andres Valera, pushed for this advice as an embryo of the future Youth Council of Mazarron.
Among the measures put in place are to include the implementation of a plan to open educational infrastructure and municipal sports to broaden the range of leisure among young people.
It was also proposed to launch a web site called "Youth Mazarron" that provides information through the major social networks such as facebook, twitter or Tuenti.
Another initiative will be to promote the Youth Card as a tool to support young people to get discounts and bonuses in the shops of the town.
Conducting a Youth Week was another proposal on which spoke during the meeting.
In this sense, the session is committed to locate municipal areas in which we can "spray paint" in order to organize a conference "graffiti" within the week.
Also promote responsible driving report on the consequences of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The Youth Council has also been proposed to contact sports clubs, municipal and regional, so they can offer tickets for young people who want to go to a game, and to study the possibility of chartering a bus when they have activities in neighboring municipalities such as concerts, lectures or workshops.
In short, the Youth CPC has aimed at achieving specific advice for youth that encourages Mazarron and voluntary associations, offer training and personal and professional guidance to young people, and assume a turning point in policy Youth taking place in the municipality.
