Yesterday afternoon the Center for Senior Day Mazarrón had hosted its third year, and did so with a series of activities for members of the center but they also enjoyed the people who came to this point meeting of the social life of Mazarrón.
The anniversary began with a performance by the choir of the center, which was followed by the choir of the Day Centre of Puerto de Mazarrón.
After the music, Dr. Rafael Garcia Castillo was elected "Mayor of the Year 2011."
The mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, was commissioned to deliver a plate which paid homage to this neighbor.
The Mayor said of him "when he retired we lost a great doctor, but we won a great person dedicated full time exclusively to Mazarrón".

Then came the moment when the theater group Day Center Puerto deployed all his art on stage.
The members of this group to stage a piece of the brothers Alvarez Quintero was sweetened with a chocolate high tea prepared by the session for all attendees, which reached over 200 participants.
Finally, the music was again the star of this celebration by the actions of the Rondalla de Mazarrón who, once again, the citizens did enjoy their quality and their extensive repertoire.
Boleros, pasodobles and popular songs of our land, put the end to an evening in which our ancestors were the real protagonists.
