The Mazarron Town Hall last night welcomed the opening of the photographic exhibition "Everyone Lorca" with which it aims to raise funds to help victims of the earthquake in Sun City As explained by the Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, "all proceeds will go to Red Cross Lorca, so hope you enjoy not only the exhibition but also to buy a lot of pictures."
The price of each snapshot is 35 euros and should not be taken into account if it has been purchased or not, as to be photo copies can be made as necessary.
Campillo Ginés 20 photographers thanked the participants' involvement in this worthy cause, "noting that" Mazarrón has always been a united people, so from the outset we are committed to this initiative. An original idea that is in addition to those have been carried out in support of Lorca in recent weeks. "
Also present at the event, the first deputy mayor, Francisco Garcia, the Councillor for Culture, Education and Tourism, Maria Celeste Soria, and the mayor of Social Policy, Equality and Health, Maria Martinez.
Soria Maria Celeste had the solidarity of the neighbors to "help as possible to mitigate the effects of the earthquake" and welcomed the cooperation and work of all involved.
Especially the exhibition curator, Juan Sanchez Calventus, and the photo lab "Dani Toledo", which has been commissioned to reveal the pictures.
Meanwhile Calventus Sanchez thanked the willingness of Toledo Dani photographers and ensuring that "exposure is easier to mount."
It has also enabled a "Picture 0" for all those who do not wish to purchase a photograph, but want to participate in this initiative, to do so.
The exhibition can be visited until November 18 different exhibition spaces in the Town Hall from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm, except the last Saturday of the month and Thursdays and Fridays from 5 to 8 pm.
Throughout the morning many foreign residents have visited the exhibition becoming a good number of photos.
