On Saturday the Social Hall of the hamlet of Leiva was again filled with life thanks to the theatrical performance conducted by the theater group "The Talayón" and was organized by the village headman, Juan Soler.
The place became too small to accommodate the large crowd who returned to the Social Hall after its stage has been vacant for 9 years of cultural inactivity.
The theatrical event, attended by about a hundred people, was a success not only for the delivery of the actors to the public, but also because there was a big surprise.
In the first book, "The Omen" and the artist José Gallego Méndez local, best known for The Yeguero, who at the time he made an appearance on stage was one of the biggest ovations of the night.
No one, including his family, knew he would act, "resulting in a really exciting time," as explained Juan Soler.
The 2nd play was a comedy entitled "The old jealous."
The actors behaved like true professionals and their long term were also applauded.
The event was ended Miguel Morales, reciting a lot of emotion, "The Elegy" by Miguel Hernández.
This well-known resident of Port also received lots of applause.
Then, all performing artists, at the request of Michael Morales, showed up on stage and received the biggest cheer of the night.
Time was used by the headman, Juan Soler, Morales to surrender to a diploma in recognition of the selfless and meritorious performance art component of the theater group "The Talayón".
Social Hall Leiva also wore a new image as a few days before the City Council painted the whole place, and also carried out various improvement works including the stage include the installation of new lights.
