The popular garden of La Purisima, one of the hubs of social life in Mazarron, sporting a new image in regard to its street lighting service.
Mazarron Town Council is carrying out the installation of new streetlights much more in line with the environment and come to replace the old lamps, which were in an advanced state of deterioration.
This improvement in street lighting will also be carried out in the street Via once you finish the work in the garden of La Purisima.
Specifically, the streetlights will be replaced in the section from the municipal sports pavilion to the sports center.
These works come to meet a demand from locals who had asked the consistory the renewal of street lighting.
It also will carry out pruning work and conditioning of the vegetation of the garden of La Purisima in line with the work that has been conducted in other green areas of the municipality.
During the last few weeks have undertaken cleaning and improvement of gardens in Playasol 7, where even used a shovel to clean debris some streets, Bolnuevo Torplasol in the garden of St. Peter in The Kabyle, garden of La Paz to the Mazarron and input on the promenade of the Port.
All these actions are in addition to those carried out in areas as in need of such work as has been the Town Hall Square and Constitution Avenue, Coopers Square and Garden Bay in Port, and the green areas of La Canada, The Majada and Cañada de Gallego, among others.
The Department of Urban Public Services Management continues in this manner in response to citizen demands against the neglect suffered in the maintenance of the municipality during the previous legislature.
